On Wednesday evening, December 15th, Margaret Brouwer's Blue Streak Ensemble and Burning River Baroque will present the first in a series of five concerts called Cycles of Creation and Annihilation, examining contemporary compositions and contrasting them with music of earlier times. That first concert takes place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cleveland Heights. The series is part of the 2021-2022 New Music Festival, celebrating the Cleveland Institute of Music. Margaret Brouwer talks about the series, and the music on the first concert.
On-demand interviews with local and national classical music artists.
