Liberal Stephanie Nunley and Conservative Amy Sabath Take "One Small Step"

Stephanie Nunley and Amy Sabath would both consider themselves more moderate politically, but Nunley, a 36-year-old black woman, leans to the left, and Sabath, a 49-year-old white woman, leans to the right. 

This summer, the two came together virtually to discuss where they disagree in ideastream and StoryCorps' One Small Step project, which aims to heal the division in our country.

In this short excerpt of their conversation, they tackle the timely topic of abortion, and we get to hear why the other believes what they believe.
