Governor Mike DeWine yesterday laid out plans for statewide panel to develope standards for police during mass protests, including a determination of when tactics become excessive and the methods police now use to disperse crowds. He also said he wants to promote diversity in the ranks. We discuss these moves with our Statehouse News Bureau Chief Karen Kasler.
The hour begins with a look at plans for realizing the full potential of the Cuyahoga River, mixing recreation, commerce and residences. Cleveland City Planning Director Freddie Collier discusses the "Vision for the Valley" project. Aaron Domini, and urban planner with OHM Advisors, a partner in the project, will also weigh in on how to create accesible, equitable spaces in the river valley.
We also hear from plastics entrepreneur Carol Latham, another memeber of the Crains's Cleveland Business 8 Over 80 Class of 2020.
