Jail Reform Bills; Sherwin Williams Impact on Northeast Ohio; Arts Participation Survey

State Senator Nickie Antonio has introduced a bill that would require jails to to identify, screen, monitor, and treat inmates at risk of withdrawal from drugs, alcohol and certain prescriptions, like Xanax.  It's called "Sean's Law" after Cleveland R&B singer, Sean Levert, who died in the Cuyahoga County Jail in 2008 due in part to withdrawal from the prescription anxiety medication, Xanax, which jailers withheld from him. The Lakewood Democrat joins me to discuss "Seans Law" and broader efforts to improve jails in the state. Later, we will discuss the impact of Sherwin Williams remaining in Northeast Ohio. And a new survey offers insights into artists and art patrons in Cleveland.
