As the nation marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we take a look at the newly opened National Museum of African American HIstory and Culture. The museum, which opened in September, sits on the National Mall, where Civil Rights protests took place and where Dr. King made his "I Have a Dream" speech. The museum itself was a dream of black Civil War veterans and was first proposed in 1915. The museum houses a trove of items including many from Northeast Ohioans who have contributed to African American history, including the Stokes brothers and sports legend and activist, Jim Brown.
