Parental Leave in Northeast Ohio, Cavs Home Advantage

The tiny Northeast Ohio village of Newburgh Heights will provide its full-time employees with six months of paid leave. U.S. Labor Secretary Tom Perez visited the village this week to praise the progressive policy. But it's not common practice. Most workers don't get paid leave. Only five states mandate it. And small businesses say such policies can cut jobs and hurt workers. We'll discuss all of that on The Sound of Ideas.

-Trevor Elkins, Mayor, Village of Newburgh Heights

-Janine Boyd, State Representative (D-Cleveland Heights)

-Cathy Zbanek, Chief Human Resources Officer, Third Federal Bank

-Steve Millard, President, Council of Smaller Enterprises

-Joe Posnanski, National Columnist for NBC Sports
