In this episode, we learn about a kid’s wish for an accessible playground coming true. For this week’s question: “Why is it important to put an emphasis on accessibility?”
---
Dear Newsdepth,
It is important to put an emphasis on accessibility because kids who are in wheelchairs or some kids who have a disability can't always have fun like you do at playgrounds or at recess. So making a place where kids who have a disability can play and have fun is so important.

Hi NewsDepth!
I think it is important to put an emphasis on accessibility so kids with disabilities can still be recognized as still smart and functioning humans. A lot of people see other people with disabilities such as autism and dyslexia as people who can think straight and can’t do a lot of things without help, so people don’t pay attention to them a lot. But if you put an emphasis on accessibility, maybe some people will pay attention to them a little more and they can learn to do things we can, people without any disabilities just learn stuff easier than people with autism or dyslexia. So in conclusion, that’s why I think it is important to put an emphasis on accessibility.

It is important to make things accessible so that everyone has stuff they can use. It also keeps them safe so that no one gets hurt.

I think it's important to put an emphasis on accessibility because everyone should be treated equally even if they have to do something differently. Just because maybe someone has to get around in a wheelchair doesn't mean they're not human. That's why I think it's important to put an emphasis on accessibility.

Dear NewsDepth, it is important to have accessibility for people that are blind. They should have braille on everything, they need a cane that they use to walk for their safety. They should also have a safety dog to guide them around.
