Your Answers: Tell us about a school employee who has made a difference in your life.

Last week we learned about a school excited for their lunch lady's new citizen status. Then we asked you to write to us:  Tell us about a school employee who has made a difference in your life.

"The employee who has made a difference in my life is my teacher Mrs.Carroll. I have had her for two years. She cares for the class so much. In the morning she always asks how we are doing. If we are hurt she will pick us up and run us to the office. On St. Patty's Day, she got us all lucky charms. At the end of last year during the pandemic, all of the teachers in the building had signs and were saying good luck in a drive-by loop. She even made the news because of how much of an impact she has made on the school. Thank you, Mrs. Carroll!!"

- Lillian from Wayne Trail Elementary in Maumee

"A school employee who has made a difference in my life is our lunch lady Mrs. Klintworth. She has made a difference in my life because, first, she set my day off on a positive note because she gives me breakfast and she asks how I am. Second, she is super nice because if I am feeling down I know she is asking me if I am okay. The last reason is I have lots of fun with her. We always play nose goes and whoever says it first gets a point and at the end of the day whoever has the most points wins. In conclusion, this is why Mrs. Klintworth made a difference in my life."

- Harrison from Beverly Center Elementary in Beverly

"An employee who has made a difference in my life has to be my principal. The reason being is because I used to get bullied in school but my principal stepped in and solved the problem for me. After that day I started to show a little more life and smiled more than I usually do and that was a really big part of my life that made it change I don't even know because if my principal would have never stepped in and offered to help me I probably wouldn't be this kind, sweet loving person that I am today :)."

- Mya from Bulldogs Digital Academy in Cleveland

"My teacher Mrs.Heinkel made a difference in my life because she taught me about so many things like about opinion essays and about different countries and states, so when I get to be an author she will definitely have my first book for free."

- Lucy from Shaw Elementary in Beavercreek

"A school employee who has changed my life is our school janitor Kevin. He has kept us safe throughout the pandemic by cleaning everything. He always keeps the school squeaky clean! Kevin is also an altogether great guy. He greets everyone with a friendly smile every day. In conclusion, a school employee that had changed my life is our school janitor Kevin."

- Elena from Summitt Elementary in Cincinnati

"A school employee that has changed my year is my teacher Mrs. Payne. I will never forget the way that she welcomed me when I came into the building from Eagle Online. She is a great math teacher and is always nice to anyone who comes into her room. She has taught me so many things this year and will always warm my heart anytime I see her. These are the reasons why I choose Mre. Payne as the teacher I want you to know. Thanks for this year Mrs. Payne!!! "

- Ella from Mulberry Elementary in Milford
