Last week we met about staying active during the winter and pandemic. Then we asked you to tell us: What are you doing to stay active nowadays?
"I go to volleyball practice two times a week and I have a volleyball tournament every weekend. Also, every day of the week I have a gym class. So I would say I'm pretty active."
- Bella from Troy Intermediate in Avon Lake
"I am staying active in so many ways! I enjoy going outside and go for runs/walks with my family! When it's warm outside, I enjoy taking care of my horse Nova! I also love to help other people."
- Samantha from Mansfield Seventh-Day School in Richland County
"To stay active during the pandemic, I am practicing basketball in my driveway and soccer indoors."
- Peyton from Orrville Middle in Orrville
"To stay active, I take ballet lessons every week for an hour and a half, and I walk at least a mile every day."
- Leah from Claggett Middle School in Medina, Ohio
"When it's not cold outside, I ride my bike around the street with my friends. If it is cold and there is snow, I play outside with my dog and go sledding."
- Chloe from Redwood Elementary in Avon Lake
"What I do to stay active is crafts. I love doing crafts like making bracelets and origami. Doing crafts inspires me to be more creative. You can also build snowmen with your family or friends. I think that crafts are a great activity to do nowadays."
- Isla from Heritage Elementary in Avon
