Petting Zoo: Animals Visit Nursing Home During Pandemic

Wow! Did you see that camel go into Bath & Body Works? Well, Abraham is a two-year-old camel trained by his owner Nancy Ross. She owns an establishment called Petting Zoo to You. Nancy’s animals participate in nativity scenes and cheer up residents at nursing homes during the pandemic.

Camels like Abraham have been used for centuries to transport goods across the desert. They are able to travel long distances without food or water. Plus, they can easily carry an extra 200 pounds, according to the San Diego Zoo! That means Abraham could really load up on a big shopping spree next time he visits the mall!
