We learn about lots of different careers in science, now we want to know: What kind of scientist would you like to be?
"I would love to be an archaeologist. I want to be an archeologist because ever since my mom got me an Anne Frank book, I´ve loved history. By being an archeologist, I would get to learn about history. I would get to be outside, travel and do amazing stuff. I would get to study very old, interesting objects. I love studying old objects and learning about old civilizations. That is why I want to be an Archaeologist."
-Amelia from Emerson Elementary in Westerville
"I would like to be a marine biologist because I think that plants and animals located in the ocean are interesting. I would like to know more about them! It would be cool to learn more about the behavior of ocean animals. It would be cool to see what it's like to go deep down underwater to really look at how marine life behaves."
-Brady from Fayetteville Perry Middle School in Fayetteville
"When I grow up, I want to be a herpetologist because a herpetologist studies amphibians and reptiles like frogs, snakes, and salamanders. Snakes are one of my favorite animals. Another reason I would want to be a herpetologist is because they fight to help endangered species. That is why I would want to be a herpetologist."
-Adelle from New Bremen Elementary in New Bremen
"I want to be a paleontologist because I like using cool tools, and I'm interested in the past. I would look for Stegosaurus bones because they're my favorite."
-August from the Global Ambassadors Language Academy in Cleveland
"The kind of scientist I would want to be is a zoologist. I would want to be this scientist because I love and know so much about animals. I can make zoos safer and keep animals in their natural environments."
-Alivia from Miami East JH in Casstown
