Your Answers: Design a Flag for Your School!

Last week we asked you to design a flag to symbolize your school. Here are a few of your awesome answers:

"I made my flag in the shape of the Ohio flag because I live in Ohio. I put five stars on the flag because my school goes from kindergarten up to 5th grade. I put a paw print on the flag because we used to have a dog that was basically our mascot. I am making the paw print blue because one of the Bexley colors is blue, inside of the paw print I put a feather because we're the Maryland mallards."
- Athena from Maryland Elementary in Bexley

"The colors are my school's colors. Green and white. The square in the corner is colored in some of my favorite colors. Inside the square is more tiny squares. They represent the keyboard letter buttons because everybody in my school has to learn online for the first week. The picture of the mask represents that we have to always wear a mask when we go out. Finally, I organized the flag like the U.S.A flag because I live in the U.S.A and my school is also located here. That is it! Have a nice day!"
- Genevieve at Westlake Elementary in Westlake

"I made a unicorn flag because it's cute and I love unicorns A LOT! I like it so much I even added a unicorn head <3. I added sparkles on it too. It's SO cute. I put a heart on it that's two colors I love it SO much. It's a rainbow kinda flag for my school. :)"
- Ryelynn from Rushwood Elementary in Sagamore Hills

"Polar bear school mascot. Purple and yellow school colors."
- Xander from Lake Cable Elementary in Massillon

"A purple flag with a super cute puppy on the front in the middle. The purple stands for blue and pink, so boys and girls. So it is saying that we don't discriminate."
- Ava from Elmhurst Elementary in Toledo

"These are the things that represent my school: 1. You probably noticed that my flag is shaped like the OH state flag. That is because my school is from Ohio. 2. On the outer line of the triangle on the left of my flag, I have written many different things about our school and our school district. 3. In the circle on the outside of the big triangle I was talking about, I have drawn my school district's logo."
- Mathew from Eastwoods Intermediate in Hudson
