In this week’s show, we give a few examples of autumn activities and asked what you do to stay fit in the fall.

Below are a few of your responses:

Brielle, Kensington Intermediate School in Rocky River: "I go to the pumpkin patch every fall to pick out pumpkins for Halloween. You get a lot of exercise because you spend a lot of time looking for that one pumpkin. I love running around with my siblings and friends at the pumpkin patch. I also like to go to Mapleside Farms near Brunswick. Mapleside Farms is a farm that has corn mazes, tractor rides, pumpkin patches, etc. Both of those activities are great ways to stay fit in the fall."

Kaya, LaMuth Middle School in Painesville: "I LOVE the fall! In the fall, I love to spend my time outside of school playing with my dogs, jumping on the trampoline, riding my bike, and playing volleyball with my sisters. I love just jumping around outside when I'm bored. I think that fall is the best time for staying active outside!!"

Sam, Harding Middle School in Lakewood: "If you want to stay active in the fall, you should go to an indoor pool. Did you know that walking in water can be better than running?"

Gabriel, Columbus Gifted Academy in Columbus: "What I usually do during the fall, (that I recommend to other people) is to do a couple things like run around and hike under the leaves. I also like to pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Not only to celebrate Halloween, but to celebrate fall and because pumpkins are ripe and mix with the colors of the fall, you can maybe even make a little pumpkin pie while you're at it! Another way, art: make a painting of a fall landscape or collect some leaves and fall stickers and make a collage. And maybe do some leaf Gelli prints by putting paint on the back of a leaf and then stamp it in a notebook. These are some of the things I usually do during the fall and recommend to others!"

Anisa, Arrowhead Primary School in Copley: "I rake leaves and jump in them."
