Researchers Use Tiny "Backpacks" to Study Honeybees

Researchers in Australia have developed a way to study and monitor honeybees - by outfitting them with backpacks.

Ok, ok they're not really backpacks. They’re actually tiny sensors that will help researchers track the bees, and learn how they react in their environment. A sensor is a device that measures a physical property of the environment like heat or light and then conveys or records that information.
