The view for riders on RTA’s Red Line is about to get even more colorful. Two years ago, the design team at Cleveland’s Land Studio teamed up with RTA, the Cleveland Foundation and other partners to commission a series of murals and exhibits inspired by Anisfield-Wolf Book Award winners along the Red Line from downtown to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Now comes a second phase of the Inter/Urban public arts project, and Land Studio is looking for 25 artists to create additional works to be displayed on train windows. ideastream's Rick Jackson spoke with project manager Joe Lanzilotta from Land Studio about what the public might expect – and how local artists can get involved.
