Throughout the holiday season, ideastream features recipients of The Center for Community Solutions Most Treasured Volunteer Awards. Since 1984, these awards have been given to nearly 300 people in the Cleveland area for their dedication to volunteering.
In our final installment, we meet Terri Noll, who has been caring for hospice patients since 2009 through the Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio. By treating everyone she meets with kindness, dignity, and respect, she has become the gold standard for volunteers at the VNA, and trains others who also answer the call to comfort patients in their final moments of life.
