These classrooms are using different animals to help students learn and develop. Studies show that animals help lower anxiety and stress and increase educational achievement.
Lasalle Elementary School has a dog named Penny to help with this. And over at Liberty Elementary School, they have geckos, hissing cockroaches, guinea pigs, a turtle, a fish, a chicken, and a dog! Oh my!
