Officials are concerned about single-digit temperatures and high winds causing blizzard conditions throughout much of the region Thursday through Saturday.

During a Monday meeting of city council’s Municipal Services and Properties Committee, councilmembers all described fielding calls from their constituents during and after the storm about impassable streets and inaccurate information from the city.

The snowfall is slowing down and the National Weather Service expects less than half an inch of snow accumulation Friday afternoon. But the wind chill Friday night could make it feel like -2 degrees.

Conditions on Northeast Ohio roads are deteriorating as snow continues to fall, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
