Complete and Green Streets

Friday is National Bike-to-Work Day. I'm not a regular bicyclist, but what I have learned as a reporter about the benefits of cycling to the planet and people makes me want to hop on.

Cuyahoga voters will elect a new county executive on Nov. 8. The two candidates, Republican Lee Weingart and Democrat Chris Ronayne, have differing stances on mobility and public transit.

Cleveland City Council’s transportation committee on Wednesday approved “complete and green streets” legislation that would task city officials with incorporating transit, walking, biking, trees and stormwater management in new road projects.
