The pastor of the Community Church of Chesterland believes the Molotov cocktail thrown at the church was in protest of the church's drag events planned for this weekend. An Alliance man has been arrested.

After threats of violence to the church for its upcoming drag events, including an arson attempt last weekend, the Chester Township police chief recommended the church cancel the events.

A flaming glass bottle was thrown at Community Church of Chesterland, believed to be in protest of upcoming drag events at the church and a local restaurant.
