2020 is looking to be a pivotal year in politics. But this year's elections are about much more than the race for the White House. And the coronavirus pandemic is proving to be a complicating factor. WKSU, our colleagues at public radio stations across Ohio and the region and at NPR will bring you coverage of all the races from the national to the local level.

The Debates of the 2020 Campaigns

From the national to the local level, there are a number of debates scheduled this election season this campaign season.

WKSU will bring you live NPR coverage of the presidential and vice-presidential debates

  • September 29, 2020: 1st presidential debate, Cleveland at Case Western Reserve University. 9pm.
  • October 7, 2020: Vice-presidential debate, Salt Lake City at the University of Utah. 9pm.
  • October 15, 2020: 2nd presidential debate, Miami at the Adrienne Center for Performing Arts. 9pm.
  • October 22, 2020: 3rd presidential debate, Nashville at Belmont University. 9pm.

You will be able to listen to these debates live on WKSU and follow NPR live blog at wksu.org.

On October 9th, the Ohio Debate Commission is holding a forum for the candidates running for state supreme court. The forum will be available at wksu.org on October 12th.

Other debates are in the works for local races in Northeast Ohio. WKSU will keep you updated as these get scheduled.
