Ideastream Holds 27th Hunger Challenge On June 27-28

Ideastream Public Media's 27th Hunger Challenge is taking a unique turn this year: in collaboration with Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and Greater Cleveland Food Bank, we present to you the very first Summer Hunger Challenge!

Working closely with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, we learned that children can struggle to get enough food when school is closed for summer break. We understand the crucial role these programs play in addressing hunger in our communities during the summer months.
