Jeff called ideastream to ask what he should do if he has a job interview at the same time as his vaccine appointment at the Wolstein Center.
Arriving late might work better than arriving early for scheduling purposes, according to the people working at the mass vaccination site's entrance.
“As long as they have an appointment, they’re fine," a National Guard soldier said.
But coming more than an hour or an hour and a half earlier than your appointment time is trickier because there might not be a seat available, officials said.
The Wolstein Center closes at 8, but they stop accepting people with appointments at 7:30 p.m. That is when they start to take people who don’t have appointments and are waiting to see if there are extra vaccines available.
People can sign up for an appointment by visiting the state’s online registration portal and typing in the Wolstein Center's address, or by calling 833-427-5634. Cuyahoga County residents can call the United Way’s 211 phone line.
Right now, the Wolstein Center is administering second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. The final two weeks of the site will be used to administer doses of the one-shot, Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
