Fish oil supplements are the most commonly consumed supplements in the U.S., creating an industry worth $2.5 billion a year. But this month, a new study found fish oil pills do little to improve heart health. And just last month, a landmark study hailing the benefits of the Mediterranean diet for cardiovascular health was also called into question.
