As part of our series Lead: Crisis Abandoned, we collected data on lead poisoning, infant mortality, income and race.
The numbers show that lead poisoning is not evenly distributed across Northeast Ohio. In some neighborhoods, virtually no children are poisoned. But there are lead hotspots. Many of these areas are also hotspots for other challenges to people’s health and well-being.
