Over 5,400 triathletes, ranging in age from 15 to 88, will embark on Cleveland’s Edgewater Park this weekend with their swim, bike and run gear in tow – competing for national age group titles in Olympic and Sprint distance races, and for the opportunity to represent Team USA at the World Championships in Switzerland.
Cleveland plays host to the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships for the first time since 1992, providing many locals the chance to compete on their home turf. We caught up with a few as they were gearing up for the weekend competition.
