Cartoon characters such as century-old "Felix the Cat" are memorable. It stands to reason that a kitten rescued from a highway ledge by a truck owned by a company called "Helix," is bound to be so named. Which may be why the story of "Helix the Cat" appealed to so many WCLV listeners. In the photo, Felix the Cat looks to be on a high ledge, too.
