The Canton Symphony Orchestra plays a strings-focused program on Sunday November 14 at 7:30 pm in the Zimmermann Symphony Center, 2331 17th St. NW in Canton. Gerhardt Zimmermann will lead a program that features Ernest Bloch's Concerto Grosso No. 1, the Andante Festivo by Sibelius, Dvorak's Serenade for Strings and a work by African-American composer Quinn Mason titled Irish Dance Suite. The CSO's Associate Conductor Matthew Jenkins Jaroszewicz talks about the program and the joys of working with the Canton Symphony.
