COVID-19 Resurgence Prompts Return Of Masks At Playhouse Square

If you have plans for a night out at the theater in Playhouse Square, be sure to bring a face covering. The downtown entertainment complex posted on its website Wednesday morning that "masks are required for entry into all areas of Playhouse Square, regardless of vaccination status." This policy statement comes as other venues and businesses across the state are adjusting their safety policies in the wake of a COVID-19 resurgence as the Delta variant spreads.

Broadway recently announced it will require proof of vaccination and masks when theater doors reopen in New York. The Columbus Dispatch reported this week that two live music venues in the state capital will also require proof of vaccination for patrons.

Playhouse Square currently has no plans for requiring proof of vaccination or temperature checks.
