Cleveland Asian Festival
The Cleveland Asian Festival virtually presents its annual celebration for Asian Pacific American Heritage month. The event highlights AAPI cultural performances, Asian food and tours of Cleveland's AsiaTown. The stream goes live on YouTube and Facebook this Saturday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m.
Western Reserve Playhouse
Western Reserve Playhouse's " Love at a Distance" festival premieres this weekend. The virtual show highlights performances of five playwrights' new works, which all revolve around love and marriage. The festival streams May 21, 22, 28, and 29, at 7:30 p.m.
Bop Stop
Bop Stop at the Music Settlement honors Bob Dylan's birthday with " Dylan 8.0: Celebrating 80 Years of Genius." Listeners can watch discussions led by Bob Dylan expert Clinton Heylin and performances by artists such as the Modern Electric. The event premieres Monday, May 24, online and in person.
Guitars International
The first of five 2021 Cleveland International Classical Guitar Festival events premieres virtually this Friday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. Nigel North plays lute and Robert Gruca plays guitar in this week's performances.
Cleveland Public Theatre
Cleveland Public Theatre presents " Extraordinary Love" on May 21, 22 and 23. The event features three short plays over Zoom and includes post-show discussions with the playwrights. Each work explores the beauty and obstacles of Black love and relationships.
