As the vaccination process continues, Northeast Ohio programs start their transition from online to in person. Hybrid events offer both virtual and in-person opportunities while people wait for the majority of the population to get second doses. From art galleries to Earth Day programs, here are five things to do this week in Northeast Ohio.
Cleveland Cinematheque
The Cleveland Cinematheque streams " The Great Green Wall," an environmental documentary about Africa's continental belt of trees, on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22. Oscar-nominated Fernando Meirelles' film is available online through May 13.
Cleveland Metroparks
Cleveland Metroparks offers a litany of Earth Day activities, including a drop-in opportunity to improve sustainability. In this in-person, outdoors event, Beth Joyave demonstrates how to set up and maintain an at-home compost system. The Earth Day Drop In follows social distance protocols and is available Thursday, Apr 22, from 3-7 p.m.
Akron Art Museum
