Cleveland artists Wadsworth and Jae Jarrell have spent their lives creating images of Black Power and beauty. The Jarrell's worked as individual artists and as members of AfriCOBRA (African Commune of Bad Relevant Artists), a collective established in 1968 to create art addressing issues of equality and civil rights.
Wadsworth’s new book, "AFRICOBRA: Experimental Art Toward a School of Thought," documents the group’s history, origins and mission.
