It’s been a busy month for New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Some of his closest advisors–two deputy mayors and the city’s schools chancellor–have had their phones seized by investigators. Also, a top lawyer within the administration has resigned.

So,what exactly is being investigated? And what implications does said investigation have for New York City and beyond?
