Live Televised Auction will be Reimagined as the Idea Center® Prepares to Welcome New Tenant
CLEVELAND, Ohio (January 30, 2018) — ideastream announced today the Live Televised Auction will be reimagined as the Idea Center prepares to welcome the Cleveland State University School of Film and Media Arts as a new tenant. As construction plans for the remodeled space have taken shape and evolved, it has become clear with this information that the usual Auction timing is impracticable.
“We are committed to the community engagement that is the esteemed heritage of the Auction and look forward to maintaining the spirit of the event through new and exciting ways,” said ideastream President and CEO Kevin Martin. “In order to present the best possible event to the community and ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and participants, we have chosen to explore alternatives to the Live Televised Auction as construction continues at the Idea Center.”
In order to effectively utilize valued donations that were made for inclusion in the Live Televised Auction, ideastream is exploring options. More details will be announced as they become available.
