Authorities say the suspect is not in custody and are asking for the public's help in locating him. A neighbor had asked him to stop shooting in his yard because there was an infant trying to sleep.

Monday's protest comes as students say 12 Cleveland Metropolitan School District students have been shot and killed this school year alone.

Members heard violence prevention experts from Chicago and Milwaukee.

The fatal school shooting in Nashville this week is part of what one expert describes as an "astronomical increase" in violence on school campuses since the pandemic.

Jimmy Dimora is currently serving a 28-year sentence at a federal prison medical center in Massachusetts, and his attorneys say he should be released due to his poor health.

So far this year, Cleveland police have responded to 495 shootings and 61 homicides, 52 of which are gun-related, according to officials.
